Rob Sweesy serves as Director, Retail, Merchant and Industrial Solutions at GA Group, where he oversees financial activity on assigned projects with a focus on optimizing performance. He partners with operations and project teams to deliver timely, accurate analysis that supports budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and informed decision-making.
Rob brings more than 30 years of retail experience spanning single-store and multi-store leadership, project management for store relocations, remodels, openings, and closings, and nearly a decade in liquidation sales. For seven of those years he worked across both operations and finance, giving him a practical view of how field decisions affect recovery, margin, and project economics. He has supported engagements involving retailers including Payless Shoes, LifeWay Stores, Conn's Furniture, and JoAnn stores to name a few.
Rob holds a B.A. in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University.
