Karen J. Kaseno is a Managing Director in GA Group's
Litigation Support Practice with more than 35 years of experience in litigation
services. She specializes in family law, forensic accounting, fraud
investigations, business valuations, and commercial damages.
A California State University, Los Angeles accounting
graduate, Karen is frequently appointed by family law courts as an Evidence
Code ยง730 Special Master. She has conducted forensic investigations in civil
and criminal matters and has served as an expert witness in numerous commercial
litigation cases involving lost earnings and related damages.
Karen is a Collaborative Family Law professional and has
decades of experience assisting the courts, attorneys and parties with
mediating and settling high-asset and complicated cases.
Karen is also an experienced educator and speaker,
presenting nationally to attorneys, CPAs, and judges on family law litigation,
business valuation, fraud, and elder
abuse related topics. She is a founding
instructor for NACVA's National Matrimonial Litigation Workshop, and has
developed forensic-accounting courses, and has spoken at many national and
international conferences.
Karen also developed the Survive Through Divorce series of
webinars to educate people about their choices in the divorce setting and how
to understand their financial issues and possible settlement strategies.
