As Senior Director of IT and Security at GA Group, Julian
Corbin is a CISSP and CRISC certified IT and Information Security leader with
over a decade of experience building and scaling enterprise-wide technology and
security programs across infrastructure, business applications, and cloud
services. Passionate about people, processes, and technology, Julian is known
for building strong stakeholder relationships and driving cross-functional
collaboration, bringing a strategic and practical approach to technology,
cybersecurity, and risk management.
At B. Riley, Julian guided the adoption of NIST CSF 2.0
standards and global regulatory and compliance standards, including FINRA, SEC,
NYSDFS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, and CCPA, across five financial entities. She created
critical programs including Third-Party Risk Management, Cloud Security, and
Vulnerability Management, while contributing to AI security strategy
initiatives that balance innovation with comprehensive risk management.
Before joining B. Riley Financial, Julian gained valuable
experience at Prudential Financial as a recognized expert in Identity and
Access Management (IAM), developing and executing a system that significantly
increased operational efficiency. Her innovative work earned her a
peer-nominated company award for delivering exceptional business value.
Julian has a Masters of Education in Education/Instructional
Technology from the University of Florida and was named to ISACA's Top 4 under
40 in 2023.
