  • State of Nevada - Provides continuity support and training to over 35 Nevada organizations including government, public utilities, tribes, and institutions of higher education.

  • SCO Family of Services - Developed the continuity program for New York's largest nonprofit organization and provided training and ongoing support.

  • King Abdullah Financial District - Developed a four-hour, multi-scenario tabletop exercise for over 75 participants that encompassed emergency response, business continuity and technology disaster recovery.

Jennifer Posten is a Director with more than a decade of experience focused on emergency response planning, continuity of operations planning, continuity of government, business continuity management, and crisis management. Jennifer is a talented training manager and exercise designer with experience developing and conducting over 20 unique simulations.

Previously, Jennifer worked as an emergency-management software solutions manager with Fortune 500 clients that sought her guidance to automate and streamline their emergency management process, documentation, and reporting. Prior to that, she held roles across nonprofit and government sectors, working on disaster preparedness, response, and coordination at the local, state, and national levels. In 2008, she was invited to the White House to present on the role of faith-based and community organizations in building resilient communities, highlighting her experience in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Jennifer's professional experience includes:

  • National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD): As Membership Director, Jennifer deployed to nationally-known events, such as Hurricane Sandy and the Moore, OK tornado to work with officials from FEMA, state emergency management agencies, and member organizations.

  • Noble Energy: Supported operations in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, and the Falkland Islands as Offshore Emergency Management Coordinator

Ms. Posten is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). She also holds several FEMA certificates and is a qualified NIMS ICS Instructor. Richland College - Business Administration.
