Jason Ruchaber, CFA, ASA, serves as Managing Director and Healthcare Advisory & Valuation Services Practice Leader. He is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare valuation and transaction support services with more than 25 years professional experience. His areas of specialization include valuation and consulting for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, partnership transactions, intellectual property arrangements, physician compensation, and dispute resolution/expert testimony.
Jason works with clients throughout the U.S., including physician medical groups, managed care organizations, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), diagnostic testing facilities, hospitals and health systems, vascular access and dialysis centers, Management Services Organizations, and Private Equity. He also sits on the board of directors for a physician-owned surgical hospital.
Prior to joining GA Group, Jason was the founder and managing partner of Root Partners/ Root Valuation, a boutique, healthcare-focused valuation and transaction advisory practice. Prior to founding Root, Jason also held leadership roles with VMG Health, BRG, and Healthcare Appraisers.
Jason earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin, is a CFA Charterholder, Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers, and a licensed investment banking representative, holding FINRA Series 63 and 79.
